同志们:现在我受省委的委托,向大会作省委的工作报告,提请大会审查。我们这次党的省代表大会,是我省革命斗争历史土的第五次党代表大会,又是中华人民共和国成立之后所召开的第一次党代表大会。这次党代表大会和过去四次党代表大会所面临的情况,是根本不同的。当这次代表大会开幕的时候,我们不仅已经取得了民主革命的彻底胜利,而且在社会主义革命的斗争中,也取得了决定性的胜利。摆在我们大家面前的艰巨任务是:调动一切积极因素,调动一切力量,为社会主义服务,为建成繁荣幸福的社会主义社会而奋斗。为了完成这个伟大的历史任务,我们这次大会,必须在充分发扬民主、开展批评和
Comrades: Now I am entrusted by the provincial party committee to report to the General Assembly on the work of the provincial party committee and submit it to the General Assembly for examination. Our party’s provincial congress at this time is the fifth party congress of our province’s historical soil for revolutionary struggle and the first party congress held after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The situation confronting this party congress and that of the last four party congresses is fundamentally different. When this congress was opened, we not only won the complete victory of the democratic revolution but also made a decisive victory in the struggle for the socialist revolution. The daunting task before us all is to mobilize all positive factors, mobilize all forces, serve socialism, and strive to build a prosperous and happy socialist society. In order to accomplish this great historic task, we at this conference must give full play to democracy, carry out criticism and
