Before talking about Li Zhenjian’s ink painting, you may wish to briefly review the little bit of ripple in Chinese body painting in the past 100 years. Uncle Li is one of the earliest pioneers of body painting. He hired a mannequin while studying at the Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts and brought home when he returned home. It was not until 1918 when he was a monk entrusted to send her back to Japan. He pioneered the Chinese body painting teaching precedent. Liu Haisu introduced the nude model to the studio of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 1920, arousing an uproar and achieved the reputation of Liu Haisu. After the founding of new China, body painting teaching actually alarmed the top.
