Garoa服装店位于圣保罗一条最为繁华的商业街Oscar Freire大街上,虽然该服装店只占据一小块地,但其独特的建筑和室内设计足以令其成为该条街的焦点之一。在两条街道交汇的拐角处,一个三角形的缺口赫然显现在该建筑外立面上,就如同建筑的一部分被掏空一般,从而定义了缺口处两块透明的玻璃板面,同时也定义了整体室内结构。室内空间随之跃然眼前,从视觉上延伸了商店在拐角处的存在空间。服装店两面临街,并且凹口处有大面积的玻璃幕墙,这一特殊的地理位置及建筑结构加深了室内与公共空间的对话。虽然店面位于喧闹的街头,然而由于其临街的车流均呈单向行驶,同时建筑外立面的凹口向内凹进,因而室内很少受到外部的干扰。
Located on Oscar Freire, one of Sao Paulo’s most bustling shopping streets, the Garoa clothing store is a focal point of the street though its unique architecture and interior design make it one of only a handful. At the corner of the intersection of the two streets, a triangular notch suddenly appeared on the façade of the building, just as part of the building was emptied to define two clear glass panels at the cutout, which also defined The overall interior structure. Indoor space then vivid eyes, visually extending the shop there is room for the corner. Clothing stores on both sides of the street, and the notch has a large glass curtain wall, this special geographical location and building structure deepens the dialogue between indoor and public space. Although the storefront is in a noisy street, the interior is less subject to external interference due to the unidirectional traffic flow along the street and the notches in the façade of the building recessed inwardly.
