提出了一种带过温保护电路和折返电流限的LDO,其主环路采用密勒补偿与零点补偿相结合的补偿方式。电路设计基于CSMC的1μm CDMOS工艺,用Hspice进行仿真验证。仿真结果表明,过温保护电路可以实现对电路的保护,并有25℃的迟滞温度;折返电流限可以将过流时的输出电流限制为一个较小的值,并在输出短路时使输出电流保持在30 mA左右;LDO的主环路在轻载和重载下都具有很好的稳定性。
An LDO with over-temperature protection circuit and fold-back current limit is proposed. The main loop adopts the compensation method combining Miller compensation and zero-point compensation. The circuit design is based on CSMC’s 1μm CDMOS process and is verified by Hspice simulation. The simulation results show that the over-temperature protection circuit can protect the circuit and has a hysteresis temperature of 25 ℃. The fold-back current limit can limit the output current during overcurrent to a small value and make the output current Maintained at around 30 mA; the LDO’s main loop has good stability at both light and heavy loads.
