There is a fallacy of Lin Biao that is almost universally known: “It was a big deal without talking about false words.” That year, people thought it absurd and not worth refuting because its fallacies were obvious. However, in recent years, it has been unconscionably accepted by some people and even regarded it as a “famous saying.” On the market, telling lies and grandstanding has become a business practice for some people. In other respects, even extremely important political occasions, some people are quite justifiably speaking of lies. This phenomenon naturally has its profound social and historical reasons. There is no discussion here, but its existence and proliferation are undoubtedly worrisome. It not only endangers social morality, as ethicists point out, but it is also extremely detrimental to the mental health of the entire nation. Because from a psychological point of view, truth is people’s normal psychological needs.
