书法在中国历史发展过程中作用特殊。唐太宗将其书法思想融于政治思想之中。对旧官宦集团予以扼制,对文人进行控制和教化,从而使书学在巩固唐初封建政权的过程中发挥了重要的作用。
Calligraphy plays a special role in the development of Chinese history. Emperor Taizong fused his calligraphy thoughts with political thoughts. The old government officials were restrained and the literati were controlled and enlightened so that the book study played an important role in consolidating the feudal regime in the early Tang Dynasty.
