石开:我担任《中国书法》刊授教学工作的时间不长,总共作了两场面授的讲座,带了十几个学员。因为不是专职教学,平时又忙,经常拖延学员的作业点评,在此深感抱歉。我也算自学出身,虽然少年时拜过三位老先生,但老先生不给你上课,片语只言你要自己去领悟,所以主要还是靠自学。我觉得自学这方式对艺术很适合,它容易培养独立人格,增加思辨能力,容易取法乎上。如果当年不是逢上动乱,我可能会上一所艺术中专,那我今天的专业眼力大概难超越永字八法的阶
