功利主义作为社会科学的重要理论必要然要处理个人与个人、个人与群体之间的关系,以苦乐主宰作为人性预设的起点,以他人苦乐作为依据,将个人视为具有感知和判断能力的个人;抽象意义上绝对平等的个人;视自由为途径的个人,从而在个人与他人的关系处理之中划清群己权界。该理论的内在特质中有着一定的务实品格,所以不论是它所主张的原则还是它在处理“人与群”关系时的方式,都能够为当下的中国特色社会主义建设提供一些启发和指导。
