我国科学家首次对云南野生稻从DNA分子、细胞、植株、种子到原生地、异地集中等进行了深入研究,建立了野生稻保存保护网,并有重要发现。野生稻是水稻的原始祖先,是改良栽培稻的宝贵基因库。云南是同时拥有全国3种野生稻资源的两个省份之一,野生稻分布广、生态类型多,优良基因丰富。但野生稻自然分布资源处于濒危状态。
For the first time, Chinese scientists conducted in-depth studies on wild rice from Yunnan, from DNA molecules, cells, plants and seeds to native and off-site concentrations, and established the wild rice conservation and protection network, with important discoveries. Wild rice is the original ancestor of rice and is a valuable gene pool for improved cultivated rice. Yunnan is one of the two provinces that simultaneously own three wild rice resources in China.
