我为什么创作《美丽的心灵》,说起来还有一段小故事。一九七九年十月我参加了“第四次全国文学艺术工作者代表大会”,大会结束的时候,中央导同志接见全体代表同时合影,就在这里我遇见了歌唱家朱逢博同志,她说:“老金,你有没有新作,我给你唱”。我说:“我现在没有,但是我一定专门为你创作一首”。就这样我愉快的答应了她的要求。回到长春后不久我接到浙江省文化局寄来的《歌词》,从中发现了陈雪帆同志写的《美丽的心灵》。我反复的读真是爱不释手。就在这同时我头脑里浮现出年轻的清洁工人形象。因为我有早起外出散步的习惯,经常看到清洁工人为城市人民生活得更舒适,把大街小巷打扫得干干净净。特别是那些年青的姑娘,她们那种不苦,不怕累的精神感染着我,总想为他们写一首歌,这首歌词正符合我的想法。我要
Why do I create “beautiful heart”, there is a little story to tell.
