在党的十三届四中全会指引下,全国人民都在认真学习、坚决贯彻落实全会的要求,研究改进工作。成人(职工)教育如何加强和改进思想政治教育,更加直接有效地为社会主义经济建设和精神文明建设服务,成了全国成人(职工)教育工作者迫待解决的重大课题。为适应这种紧迫的需要,由辽宁《职工教育》杂志编辑部、连云港市职教办与《北京成人教育》杂志社联合发起并组织的“社会主义初级阶段成人教育研修班”,在原全国职工教育管理委员会副主任浦通修同志的亲自关心和支持下,于八月中旬至九月上旬在连云港市举办。

In order to meet this urgent need, “the first phase of socialism adult education seminar” initiated and organized by the editorial department of Liaoning “Staff Education” magazine, Lianyungang Vocational Education Office and “Beijing Adult Education” magazine, Under the care and support of Comrade Pu Tongxu, deputy director of the Education Management Committee, he was held in Lianyungang City from mid August to early September.
