While ushering in the new century and the new millennium, we will also celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the China Democratic League. In the past 60 years, the Democratic League and the Communist Party of China have joined forces to fight side by side in a rainy day. They have jointly walked through the difficult and tortuous road of glory and history, contributing to building a new China and contributing to the cause of socialist construction. In December 2000, during the Fourth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Democratic League, the group magazine invited some delegates to hold a symposium to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the China Democratic League.
