设计伦理学在目前发展来看,作为研究和探讨社会可持续发展问题的一门学科,成为了艺术设计学科新的艺术设计方向和创造新生活方式的载体和转化形式。朱铭提出的设计伦理学将设计置于“以人为本”的前提下,以人的生理、心理和群体这三个尺度为层次,平衡和协调人与人、人与社会、社会与环境三者关系为价值标准,给予人、造物、环境以时代性的设计理论指导,给予艺术设计新的社会价值导向,整合了社会思想观念及价值标准的思想导向等。
