Objective To study the value of CT and MRI in predicting the prognosis of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Methods A total of 120 patients with carbon monoxide poisoning diagnosed and treated in our hospital between August 2014 and December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group Patients within 48 hours of onset of CT examination, the study group within 48 hours of onset MRI examination to observe the clinical situation of two groups of patients. Results Lacunar infarction and leukoaraiosis in CT and MRI were correlated with the occurrence of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning, and the prognosis of delayed encephalopathy was decreased after the examination and prognosis. Conclusion CT and MRI examination images can clearly show the encephalopathy in patients with carbon monoxide poisoning, provide a reference for clinical treatment and prognosis of delayed encephalopathy, and evaluate the prognosis and diagnostic value of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning.
