1978年,从榆中大山深处走出的李培荣,刚刚高中毕业,怀着对解放军的向往和保家卫国的责任感,应征入伍,当了一名战士。入伍后,他在兰空11军17师51团汽车连学习驾驶及汽车修理。这种安排使他对汽修产生了浓厚的兴趣。由于他修理汽车排除故障判断准确、维修到位,且能够在最短的时间内保质保量的完成任务,很快被抽调到兰州空军司令部专修“四大部”首长的专用小车。兰空11军政治部曾两度为他授予了“汽车修理技术能手”的称号。
In 1978, Li Peirong, who emerged from the depths of Yuzhong Mountain, just graduated from high school.
