“十五”期间,云南省小龙潭监狱根据司法部《2001年——2005年全国司法行政系统干部教育培训规划》的要求,以建设一支高素质的监狱人民警察队伍为目标,在监狱人民警察中认真开展了基本素质教育、学历培训、岗位培训等各类教育培训工作,监狱人民警察队伍的综合素质有了明显提高,为“十五”期间云南省小龙潭监狱各项事业的改革和发展提供了有力的组织保障和人才支持。
