嘉定区南翔中学位于上海四大历史文化古镇——南翔镇北端,是一所集初、高中部和中专部—体的完全中学。学校占地62 亩,建筑面积11216平方米,学校拥有教学、实验、行政、食堂、宿舍等五幢大楼,建有标准的400米塑股跑遒的田径场和篮球场。现有29个教学班,教职员工111人,学生1200多人。学校拥有一支精良的师资队伍,区、镇、校三级学科带头人和骨干教师占专任教师的20%。教师参加区级教学评比成绩喜人,学生参加市区级各项竞赛屡屡获奖。
