With the further deepening of proteomics and genomics research, two-hybrid technology is also developing rapidly, and plays an important role in studying the interaction between protein molecules in cells or virus-host interaction. This article briefly describes the basic principle and main types of two-hybrid technique and its application in retroviral HIV-1 research.
