梅里特催化压燃式发动机(MCC)的特点是设计了一套全新的燃烧系统,既采用了柴油机的着火方式,又获得了汽油机的燃烧速度。在较大的功率范围和转速范围内均有明显增益。由于采用了高压缩比、低压喷射和使用低辛烷值燃料,经济性大为提高。该系统兼可采用二冲程循环和四冲程循环。
The Merit Catalytic Compression Ignition (MCC) engine is characterized by a completely new combustion system that uses both the ignition of the diesel engine and the combustion of the gasoline engine.
