北京千百年来是多民族汇集共处,多宗教交流接触,中西文化融合发展的历史文化名城,民族和宗教文化底蕴十分深厚。北京56个民族齐全,少数民族人口比例虽小,但人才荟萃,分布面广,影响力大。北京市五大宗教俱全,有多所宗教院校,除基督教外,四大宗教的全国性领导机构均设在北京,北京市宗教界负责人有多位成为了全国性宗教团体领袖。可以说,北京对外是展示民族文化的窗口,对内是维系56个民族凝聚力的心脏。作为首都,北京在全国民族和宗教工作中具有举足轻重的影响和作用。
For thousands of years, Beijing has been a famous historical and cultural city where people of various ethnic groups live together in a multi-ethnic group and exchange ideas and religions. The cultural heritage of ethnic groups and religions is very profound. 56 ethnic groups in Beijing are complete, although the proportion of minority population is small, but the talent pool, distributed widely, influential.
