盛小云,原名陈红卫。学艺之初,因母亲姓盛,故取艺名盛小云,谐音恰同京剧“尚派”艺术创始人、一代大师尚小云之名。或许,正应着当初父母亲的那份殷切厚望,冥冥之中注定了盛小云日后不同凡响的艺术人生。从艺三十多年来,她叩问时代、社会和人生,向长辈、良师与益友虚心求教。长篇《啼笑因缘》,中篇《大脚皇后》《雷雨》《绣神》,开篇《倾杯·石城春望》《姑苏水巷》《茉莉情》《蘩漪悲歌》……她一次次超越自我,为观众奉献了一部部好作品,塑造了一个个好角色。她怀着寸草春晖之情,用爱、用心、用功回报了孕育滋养自己的苏州评弹。而今,她依旧在追求艺术的漫漫长途中探寻未知,上下求索。
