通过对毛乌素流动沙丘栽植14年生樟子松、油松人工林的测定结果表明,与无林裸沙地段相比小气候变化极为明显,相对湿度增高,地表温差缩小,风速降低,蒸发量也下降;林地内土壤的养分含量,细粒物质都有了较大幅度的增高,土壤表面出现了明显的结皮,且有了层次的发育,在林地表面,出现了苔藓和地衣。沙地樟子松、油松的综合生态效益指数可达49.9%;经济效益差距较大,樟子松人工林每公顷木材总产值为33600元,而油松木材总产值为5715元,说明樟子松是毛乌素流动沙区经济价值和生态效益均表现优良的针叶树种。

The difference of economic benefits is larger. The total output value of timber per hectare in Pinus sylvestris var. Mongolica is 33,600 yuan, while that of Pinus tabulaeformis wood is 5,715 yuan, It shows that Pinus sylvestris is the coniferous species with excellent economic value and ecological benefits in the Mu Usuang sandy area.
