老风口位于阿尔泰山西北端的余脉和准噶尔盆地北部边缘之间,北面是起伏平缓的小山丘,东面是连绵的加依尔山和玛依勒山,西南方则是辽阔的塔额盆地。千百年来,老风口是以冬季罕见的暴风雪闻名遐迩,为许许多多中外专家们所关注,在一千五百万分之一的中国地图上也赫然标示出它的大名。“夏天,飞沙走石,漫天黄尘,数步之外,人影不见;冬日,飞雪迷漫,遮天蔽日,寸步难行,险情常见。”可谓是托里老风口
The old tuyere is located between the margin of the northwestern tip of the Altai Mountains and the northern margin of the Junggar Basin. The north side is a gently rolling small hill with the eastern mountains of Mount Garil and Mount Mayil to the south and the vast Tarim Basin. For thousands of years, the old tuyere is famous for its rare winter blizzards, which have attracted the attention of many Chinese and foreign experts. Its name is also clearly marked on the 15 millionth Chinese map. “Summer, Feishazoudou, the sky and dust, a few steps away, the figure is not seen; winter, Blizzard fan, sheltered, difficult to move, dangerous common.”
