伍修权作为特派代表出席联合国大会和安理会,在会场上,他义正词严,直斥美帝人生八年有几何?岁月蹉跎风浪多。奋斗一生如一日,晚晴高唱晚节歌。这也许算不上什么上乘的诗作,然而,它却是作者用沧桑岁月的笔写成的,是作者饱尝了人世的风霜,不堪回首,却并不消沉的独白,是一首用以明志的诗。八年,对于一帆风顺的人来说,只是短暂的一瞬,而对这首诗的作者——伍修权来说,却是一生中横亘着的最难忘的一段。
