参加北京奥运会火炬广西传递的火炬手共624名,其中广西选拔的火炬手377名,这些火炬手中,汉族328名,少数民族49名,涵盖广西境内世居的壮、汉、瑶、苗、侗、仫佬、毛南、回、彝、京、水、仡佬12个民族,其中毛南、京族为广西独有的民族。火炬手中既有奥运会冠军和世界冠军、战斗英雄、获得过国家科技奖的人士,有五一劳动奖章、三八红旗手、新长征突击手获得者,还有工作和战斗在第一线的军人、工人、农民及抗震救灾归来的英雄代表。他们来自不同的行业。他们有着不同的人生经历,但都用一个“搏”字,诠释了奥运精神更快更高更强的
There were 624 torchbearers who passed the Beijing Olympic torch relay in Guangxi, including 377 torchbearers selected by Guangxi. Among these torchbearers, there are 328 Han and 49 minorities covering Zhuang, Han, Yao and Miao in Guangxi, Dong, Gelao, Mao Nan, Hui, Yi, Beijing, water, Mulao 12 ethnic groups, including Mao Nan, Jing ethnic Guangxi unique ethnic.
