我国是一个人口众多的农业大国,又是一个可耕地面积比较狭窄的国家。加之我国人口每年以1500~1700万的速度递增,而土地面积又以600~700万亩的速度递减。在这种人口不断增长和耕地逐年减少的形势下,发展棉花生产主要靠棉田面积的稳增和棉花 My country is a large agricultural country with a large population and a relatively narrow arable land.
