Shangdu County Chinese Medicine Hospital is a TCM specialist hospital in Houshan District of Urumqi League. It was formerly known as Shangdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic and was transformed into a Chinese medicine hospital in 1983. It now has a building area of 2,400 square meters and more than 40 medical and nursing staff, including 5 senior and middle-level employees. The staff structure basically meets the Ministry of Health’s structural standards for technical staff of county-level Chinese hospitals. The hospital has 8 clinical departments including Internal and External Medicine, Women, Children, Bone Injuries, Oral, Acupuncture and Massage. It has B-mode ultrasonography, EEG machine, X-ray machine, electrocardiogram machine, heart and brain information meter, and ambulance.
