雕塑与设计,分属不同的学科,国家学科设置中划定雕塑属于美术学,设计属于设计学。学科是一种学术分类,是对知识系统隶属范围的相对界定。雕塑与设计各自都有自己的知识系统,把两者放在一起来谈,是对学科跨界的一种思考。雕塑是三维的,是在空间和时间中展开的艺术,从其产生起,承载着的是精神信仰、情感表达的功能,是一种不具有实用功能的艺术。而设计则是将艺术的形式美,应用于日常生活中,使之不但具有审美功能,同时还具有实用功能。艺术设计
Sculpture and design, belong to different disciplines, the national discipline is delineated sculpture belongs to the fine arts, design belongs to the design. Discipline is an academic classification of the relative definition of the scope of knowledge system membership.
