自一九五○年中華人民共和國婚姻法公佈施行以後,全國各級學校教師,會進行了對婚姻法的學習,加上三年來社會上貫徹婚姻法的各種宣傳和人民政府處理婚姻事件中具體實例的教育,所有的教師和學生對於婚姻問題和戀愛問题的看法,比解放前已超了很大的變化。但是,還不能認為:正確的婚姻觀點在我們的學校中已經普遍確立了。目前在有些教師的頭腦中,封建思想仍然十分嚴重,無理干涉學生婚姻自由的現象依然存在,例如河南省某師範學校的一個女生與男同學發生戀愛,學校竟因此逼她作『思想檢討』,縱容許多同學用惡言冷語諷刺打擊,使她感到無地自容,因而服毒自殺。像這樣的教師,實際上已經成為吃人的封建禮教的幫兇了,怎樣還能稱為新民主主義的人民教師呢?

However, it can not be argued that the correct view of marriage has been universally established in our schools. At present, in some teachers’ minds, the feudal ideology is still very serious. There are still unreasonable interference with the freedom of marriage of students. For example, a girl from a teacher’s school in Henan Province has fallen in love with a male student. As a result, her school has forced her to “make a mental review” Pamper many students with sarcastic parody, so she felt embarrassed, and thus act suicide. Such a teacher, in fact, has become an accomplice of the feudal ethics of eating man, how can we call it a new-democratic people’s teacher?
