建立社会主义市场经济体制,对学前教育既是挑战,也是机遇。从根本上讲,有利于学前教育事业的发展。这是我们认识市场经济与学前教育关系应确立的基本观点。在市场经济体制建立与完善过程中,如何使学前教育尽快与市场经济接轨,使其既能主动适应和服务于市场经济,又能保持持续发展态势,这是学前教育研究的新课题。山东省青岛市自1991年开始,历时7年,通过积极探索,在城市学前教育体制改革方面,闯出了一条新路子,创造了具有导向性、超前性和可行性价值的经验。他们的具体做法是:
Establishing a socialist market economy system is both a challenge and an opportunity for preschool education. Fundamentally, it is conducive to the development of preschool education.
