Professor Ye Gongshao lives in China as a leading preventive medicine practitioner, educator and social activist, founder of childhood hygiene in New China, founder and honorary director of the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of Beijing Medical University, and member of the Standing Committee of the Sixth and Seventh National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Professor Ye Gongshao, the Central Consultant of the Jiusan Society, died of illness due to invalid treatment. He died in Beijing on April 5, 1998 at 18:20.
