Objective To investigate the correlation between the serum tumor markers cytokeratin 19 (CYFRA21-1), neuron specific enolase (NSE) and cytoplasmic thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) levels and lung cancer recurrence. Methods The clinical data of 198 patients with lung cancer diagnosed from January 2012 to December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. 98 patients who recovered after surgery combined with chemotherapy were relapse-free, and relapsed 100 patients were relapsed. Serum levels before and after treatment were measured in both groups. Changes in levels of CYFRA21-1, NSE, and TK1. Results There was no significant difference in serum CYFRA21-1, NSE and TK1 levels between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). Follow-up after treatment, the serum levels of these tumors in relapsed patients were higher than those in relapse-free patients, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The detection of serum CYFRA21-1, NSE and TK1 levels can determine whether the lung cancer recurrence.
