高云览以他的长篇小说《小城春秋》,闻名于世。可是他没有看到自己的作品出版,竟赍志而殁,这可谓作家的悲剧。在五十年代初期,我与高云览曾有过一段交往,虽说不上多么深交,但彼此之间还是能够倾吐肺腑的。这是一个很有性格的人,一经接触,就能给你留下深刻的印象。他喜交游,重情谊,性情豪爽,饶有风趣。如今,他已作古三十五个年头了,虽时隔久远,事过境迁,然而他的音容笑貌,言谈举止,仍然活在我的脑海里,回忆当年交游之情,依然历历在目。
