Insulin is an extremely needed, life-saving drug for people with type 1 diabetes (so-called insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus). With it, these patients have the hope of survival. Some people think that as long as type 2 diabetes (the so-called non-insulin-dependent diabetes) should not use insulin, use is wrong. We think this understanding is not entirely correct and has one-sidedness. Of course, for people with type 2 diabetes whose plasma insulin value is already high and for which there is significant insulin resistance, there is no need to use insulin and should not be randomly abused. However, if these patients develop symptoms such as ketosis Acidosis, hyperosmolar coma, severe infection, trauma or need to do more major surgery and serious complications, there is still the need to use. In short, everything must proceed from reality. The treatment must change with changes in circumstances and the mind can not be rigidified.
