表面塑性变形或化学热处理作为提高机器零件疲劳强度的手段得到了广泛的应用。同时各种表面复合强化方法,诸如渗碳和加工硬化等也大量采用。据一些资料介绍,采用表面复合强化能够获得高得多的疲劳强度指标。但是在这些资料中,实际上并未涉及有关冲击循环载荷方面的情况。在载荷循环次数少和冲击能量恒定的条件下,曾进行过某些试验研究。至于有关表面复合强化对材料的应力集中敏感度的影响情况,在资料中也未见到。
Surface plastic deformation or chemical heat treatment as a means to improve the fatigue strength of machine parts has been widely used. At the same time a variety of surface hardening methods, such as carburizing and work hardening are also widely used. According to some information, the use of surface hardening can achieve much higher fatigue strength. However, in the information, it is not actually concerned with the impact of cyclic loading. In the condition of less load cycles and constant impact energy, some experimental studies have been conducted. As for the impact of surface strengthening on the material’s stress concentration sensitivity, it is not seen in the data.
