彩调来源于民间,是老百姓们生产生活的艺术结晶。在广西地区具有较大的影响力,是该地区的两大剧种之一。它的角色分类主要为“小生、小旦、小丑”这三种角色,形式灵动活泼,程序简单明了,易于观看和学习,深受广大劳动人民的喜爱。一些经典剧目,例如《杨京带小》、《娘送女》、《王三打鸟》等,反映了老百姓向往爱情与热爱人生的生活态度。在2006年,中国非物质遗产名录将其收入之中,在法律上为彩调的发展提供了保障。永福彩调产生于明代中期,在清朝到民国之间经历了发展、繁荣以及逐渐衰落的起伏,新中国成立后,又焕发新生,开始了新时期的发展。近些年来,永福彩调越来越受到政府的重视,不断加强相关文化品牌的建设与开发。2002年,永福县罗锦镇被自治区文化厅命名为“广西民间艺术彩调之乡,自此之后,彩调传习基地等非物质文化遗产基地也相继成立。近些年来,我国越来越注重传统文化的继承与发展,想要通过复兴传统文化来达到繁荣社会主义文化的目的。基于这一目的,中央以及地方政府以中共中央的大政方针为指导,加快了复兴与传扬永福彩调这一传统经典民间艺术的脚步。在这种形势下,研究永福彩调的现状及其发展问题,有利于从实际出发,制定出有利于永福彩调发展的新思路,实现这一优秀民间艺术的传播与发扬。
