一九五四年九月二十日,这是在人类历史上具有重大意义的一天:表现了六万万中国人民坚决走向社会主义道路、坚决为世界和平和人类进步的崇高目的而奋斗的坚强意志的中华人民共和国宪法,在全国仰望、举世瞩目下,庄严地诞生了。全国人民,都在为这一件史无前例的大喜事欢呼歌颂。从一九四九年中华人民共和国建立的一天起,中国人民有了自已的人民民主专政的政权。五年之後,在中国人民又取得了各方面许多巨大的新成就的今天,中华人民共和国宪法的诞生,标志着我们伟大的祖国已进入了一个新的历史时期。
