经过20多年的发展,高校艺术设计专业在校学生人数有了超常规模的发展,而艺术设计专业教学管理尚未健全和完善,缺乏创新的管理;主要体现在教学目标的简单雷同,教学管理观念陈旧,教与学脱轨,教学方法多数仍为单纯讲授,教学评价单一。高等学校要明确自身对创新教学管理的内在需求,结合艺术设计专业规律和学生特性,找到鲜明的应用性、综合性和包容性的设计教学目标,革新设计教育观念,推行教与学的双轨设计教学过程管理,鼓励竞赛式设计教学方法,注意多角度、全方位的设计教学评价,实现艺术设计专业从规模发展向内涵建设的过渡。
