West German experts will know in the next five years whether solar power and hydrogen production can become a business plan. In West Germany, Neunburg is building the world's first pilot plant that uses solar energy for hydrogen and electrolysis. It is estimated that by the early 1990s, West Germany will be the earliest country to conduct a large-scale trial of an innovative energy system. A 75-year-old aviation designer, Dr. Ludwig.Boelkow, chaired the project.
