“唧唧复唧唧，木兰当户织。不闻机杼声，惟闻女叹息……”这首耳熟能详的北朝民歌讲述了一位名叫木兰的姑娘女扮男装、替父从军的故事。看，江苏科技大学附属小学的师生们把这个动人的故事改编成了英语舞台剧，上演了一场精彩的演出！向我们走来的，正是英姿飒爽的小“木兰”……
Mulan：花木兰，黄亦璇 饰；
Dad：花弧，木兰的父亲，张卜元 饰；
Mum：木兰的母亲，张姝慧 饰；
Soldiers：军队的士兵们，张炫能等 饰；
Captain Li：军队的长官，张卜元 饰。
Narrator：In ancient China，there was a girl named Mulan.
（Girls are dancing beautifully.）
Mulan：Hey，watch out！
Girls：Ah！ Ah！（Scream） Mulan，you’re so naughty！
Mulan：Oh no，you coward！Come on！
Narrator：All girls run away，except for Mulan. She practices Kung fu alone.
Mum：Mulan，time for dinner！
Mulan：（Murmurs）You gotta be kidding me. Coming！
Narrator：The family is having dinner when suddenly somebody knocks.
Soldier：Anybody home？
Mum：Yes？
Soldier：On king’s order，Hua Hu comes to the army and fights back enemies in no time！
Narrator：Mum passes the note to Dad and starts to sob. Dad looks at the order and goes back to the room. He suddenly comes out with weapons in his hands.
Dad：Ah！It’s an honor to protect my country！Yes！Nobody ... （coughs）stands ... （coughs） in my way！Ah！（coughs badly）
Narrator：Mum starts to cry. Mulan looks at Mum and becomes gloomy. And she covers her face and sobs. Suddenly，she walks to her father with shining tears in her eyes.
Mulan：So you’ll die for honor？
Dad：I know my duty. It’s time to know yours.
Mulan：Dad，let me go！
Dad：（Surprised） What？ （Sigh） No，you can’t. You are my ... my ... daughter.
Mulan：No，I will go！
Dad：You just ... can’t！
Mulan：Dad，Mum，look at me. I’m young and I have Kung fu. Dad is old now. I am the only one who can replace Dad. And I have a dream. I’ll go for it！
Narrator：Dad and Mum hug Mulan and cry.
Mulan：Believe me！ Let me go！I can do it！
Narrator：So，Mulan sets off bravely instead of her father to the army. When Mulan reaches the camp，a soldier is spitting and making a loud noise.
Mulan：Oh！Disgusting！
Soldier 1：What did you say，little boy？
Soldier 2：He said，you are a disgusting man.

Mulan： ... Well，I’ve got a name. It’s Ping.
Soldiers：Ha Ha ... Ping！Go back to your Mum！
Narrator：All the soldiers mock at Mulan，and she leaves alone ...
