The article details the performance of the B-A ion gauge affected by a weak magnetic field (<60 Gauss). This B-A gauge follows the sensitivity. (1) the size of the magnetic field, (2) the direction of the magnetic field, in particular the angle between the direction of the emitted electron and the orientation of the magnetic field. If the B-A gauge is required to work in a magnetic field, the orientation relative to the magnetic field must be chosen carefully to achieve the best possible results.
