Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections, including HIV / AIDS, represent a serious and unprecedented challenge to the world’s public health problems. As of June 1987, 113 countries have reported 51,751 cases to WHO, but it is estimated that in fact there will be more than 100,000 cases.
