Short Brothers公司的一种新型自行发射“Starburst”近距防空导弹系统已在英国进行的原理性试验中成功地进行了发射。该公司称首次试验获得对短距离靶试空中目标100％的成功率,这种空中目标的尺寸只有战斗机的1/20。 Starburst自行发射系统无需再启动就能连续发射八枚导弹,它是英军在波斯湾战争中使用并于1991年6月公开展出的激光制导个人便携式“Starburst”系统的后继型号。该自行发射系统可在多种装甲战车上使用,并可与“毒刺”导弹一起用于Boeeng Avenge(?)系统上。
Short Brothers’ new self-propelled “Starburst” short-range air defense missile system has been successfully launched in a pilot test carried out in the United Kingdom. The company said the first trial achieved a 100% success rate with the short-range target airspace target, which is only 1/20 of the fighter’s size. The Starburst self-propelled launcher can launch eight missiles in a row without rebooting, a successor to the laser-guided personal portable “Starburst” system used by the British forces during the Persian Gulf War and publicly exhibited in June 1991. The self-launcher system can be used on a variety of armored combat vehicles and can be used with the Stinger missile on the Boeeng Avenge (?) System.
