版框係指在古籍書葉的文字四周以綫條或圖案所構成的邊框,多爲一葉一框(晚明曾一度流行每半葉單獨成框的樣式)。大體來説,寫本中有無版框者,而絕大多數刻本皆有版框。常見的版框樣式有四周雙邊、左右雙邊、四周單邊三種;~①其花式除常見的直綫欄之外,另有竹節欄、博古欄等較爲少見的裝飾性邊欄。由於不同版本的版框樣式不盡相同,因此版框樣式可作為判别版本異同的
