襄阳县位于汉江中游,地处南阳盆地南缘,气候温和,雨量适中,具有黑杨派某些无性系原产地相似的气候条件。特别是汉江、唐白河两岸的滩洲地,土层深厚肥沃,物理性状良好,pH值在7～8之间,适宜杨树的生长。自1979年,我县引进了Ⅰ—63、Ⅰ—69、Ⅰ—72、214和沙兰杨五个无性系,进行了繁殖、栽培试验。经过几年的观察,选出了适宜我县的Ⅰ—69、Ⅰ—72、Ⅰ
Located in the middle reaches of the Han River, Xiangyang County is located in the southern margin of the Nanyang Basin, with mild climate and moderate rainfall with climatic conditions similar to those of some black climatic origins. Especially on the banks of the Hanjiang and Tangbai Rivers, the soil is rich and fertile with good physical properties, and the pH is between 7 and 8, which is suitable for the growth of poplar trees. Since 1979, our county has introduced five clones Ⅰ-63, Ⅰ-69, Ⅰ-72,214 and Salmynia miltiorrhiza, and conducted breeding and cultivation experiments. After several years of observation, selected for the county I-69, Ⅰ-72, Ⅰ
