To examine the association of childhood events with overweight in adolescents and to examine the effects of life events on long-term, timeliness, intensity, titer, and event types, potential regulatory factors were analyzed from the Department of Pediatrics, University of Michigan School of Medicine / Public Dr. Lumeng, Department of Environmental Health Sciences / Human Growth and Development Center, School of Health, conducted the study. The mothers recruited for this study came from the study of Early Childhood Health and Adolescent Development in the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development by Eugene Kennedy Shriver
