进入21世纪以来,中国经济迅速发展,国力逐步提升,华语的经济价值不断提高。很多海外华人开始重新拥抱中华文化、学习汉语。在这种情况下,新一代新加坡华人有何反应?其文化特征如何?通过调研发现,新一代新加坡华人宗教信仰多元,以基督教为主,语言主要使用英语,不仅对中华文化了解较少,而且对中国的发展也漠不关心。
