今年1月,党中央在全党开展了保持共产党员先进性教育活动,这是新时期加强党员队伍建设的重要举措。新时期,机关共产党员先进性由多种因素构成,体现在思想理论、实际行动、工作岗位等方面。机关党员职责不同,其发挥先锋模范作用的侧重点也有所不同。党员领导干部应主要体现在执政能力、领导水平、科学决策、廉洁自律等方面;普通党员应主要体现在履行岗位职责、增强宗旨意识、提高服务水平等方面;离退休党员应主要体现在积极做好团结群众、维护改革开放和发展稳定大局等工作上。机关党员保持先进性,必须做到“四个领先”。
