郭沫若作为20世纪中国现代文学和现代学术研究史上的巨人,在文学、史学和甲骨文字学等诸多领域取得的丰硕成果,对后世产生了深远的影响,所以郭沫若研究始终是当代中国文学界、史学界不无争议的一个研究热点。对郭沫若文学创作,特别是诗歌和历史剧的评论研究是比较充分的,特别是白话新诗的研究可以说是与其五四时期作品的发表几乎是同步的。
