在《米老鼠和唐老鸭》中每有演出之前,那名为柏拉图的狗总要蹦出来,高声道:“演出开始了!” 97年,随着各路厂商纷纷杀入PC市场。中国计算机业那只名为柏拉图的狗也千呼万唤蹦出来,宣告真正入戏的演出开始了。但是无论是厂商还是媒体,对这场开演的好戏并没有感到欣快和激动,议论之声总是笼罩在一片不吉祥的氛围之中。比如,除了ISP,PC厂商似乎是计算机界哭穷哭得最厉害的,不少人忧心忡忡,认为如此多的厂商一拥而上,难免会出现PC业的“大饥荒”。还有的将各厂商分门别类,如当代理出身的,搞家电的,言辞之间总有一种锅里的饭被人抢走的不平衡心态。
